Access to Basic Necessities and Other Resources
Access to Basic Necessities and Other Resources
Bridge 127, Inc. in Pottsville, Pennsylvania supplies high risk youth with clothing and personal care items, as well as furniture and other household items for the youth aging out of the system. We also assist foster, kinship, and biological families with baby equipment, clothing, and supplies.
We allow both the parents and the children to shop in our store free of charge so they can replace the items that they may have had to leave behind when they were removed from their homes or items that they otherwise would not have. In case of emergencies, we let case workers shop for those who are unable to make it to our store. We will also deliver your items for free.
Our nonprofit organization will also educate communities and families on foster care and needs of high risk youth, as well as provide a mentoring program for those youth.
